Top Three Spring to Summer Transitional Fragrances

Top Three Spring to Summer Transitional Fragrances

By Miss Makeup Magpie
The beauty transition from spring to summer can be tricky, here are three of the best spring to summer perfumes to help you make the leap!

One day I'm 100% sure that summer is finally upon us in the UK, and then I'm reaching for my sandals and the next day I'm turning my heating on in the evening as the weather just can't make up its mind. I love the transition between autumn and winter, but I find the transition between spring and summer a tricky one in terms of fashion and beauty, especially when the temperatures fluctuate so massively. I know a lot of people have their favourite fragrances which they stick to throughout the seasons but I personally like to change up my fragrances depending on the seasons as I prefer lighter scents in the warmer months, and woodier, more intense scents in the cooler months. Today I have selected three different fragrances which I'd deem as being perfect for the spring to summer transition, and ones I've thoroughly been enjoying.

The Affordable Option

I'm a big fan of the Victoria's Secret Body Mists and I've amassed quite the collection, but until recently I'd not tried any of their Pink fragrances. The Victoria's Secret Pink Sun Kissed Body Mist is the definition of summer in a bottle. The fragrance is a mix of coconut water and sunny vanilla along with conditioning aloe for a burst of moisture. It's lovely and light, and not at all sickly like some other vanilla and coconut based fragrances. It manages to transport me to a white sandy beach with crystal clear turquoise waters lapping at the shore and it's a bargain dupe of the highly coveted Esteé Lauder Bronze Goddess.

The Unique Option

I'd describe Clean White Woods as being almost my wildcard recommendation as it's so unique to anything I've tried before, especially as it's an unisex fragrance. White Woods is designed to capture the calm, peaceful feeling of encountering a wooded clearing, and it reminds me of having a picnic on a wide, windy beach with rustling reeds. I find White Woods to be fresh and clean, with an added sweetness thanks to the amber and the vanilla orchid notes. Whenever I wear this stunning scent, I'm always complimented and asked what I'm wearing. I've also discovered that it works well with being layered with other fragrances.

The Everyday Option

I never used to like floral fragrances but my tastes have changed considerably over the last year or so, and Dolce is the most perfect floral fragrance in every single way. It contains notes of papaya flower, water lily, narcissus and amaryllis which are softened and slightly sweetened by musk and cashmere. I think this fragrance from Dolce & Gabbana suits every situation, both morning and night. It's so easy to wear as it's soft and more delicate compared to the other two scents. The beautiful narcissus and amaryllis notes are so appropriate for the transition from spring to summer, and it's such a pretty scent which uplifts my mood whenever I wear it. Finally, I cannot forget to mention Dolce's beautiful bottle design complete with a sculpted flower with a pastel pink centre and cream petals.

I really hope you love my top three picks for spring to summer transitional fragrances as much as I do, but if these don't take your fancy, Luxplus has an extensive range of other fragrances which might be better suited for you.
