Membership Terms for Luxplus (Luxplus ApS) 

About the Luxplus Membership 

Luxplus (Luxplus ApS) is a member’s club that provides discounts on well-known perfume and cosmetic brands along with other member benefits. Luxplus is only for private individuals. The membership is personal and is not to be shared. Violation of the membership terms may result in the membership being cancelled. 

In order to become a member, you must be 18 years or older. Members can earn BonusCash when completing an order at Luxplus. The amount of BonusCash depends on which products you buy. You can see how much BonusCash you have earned at any time when you are logged into your account. Your BonusCash will automatically be applied towards your next order at a 1:1 ratio. For example, 9 BonusCash will give you a discount of £9. Earned BonusCash can not be used during a free trial period. 

BonusCash does not expire, so long as your membership remains valid. In the event that you cancel your membership, your BonusCash will expire after 14 days. Please note that your BonusCash will not expire should you choose to reactivate your membership within those 14 days. BonusCash cannot be converted into cash or given to another member.

Accepting Subscription Terms 

By giving your consent to the subscription terms applicable on luxplus.co.uk, you allow Luxplus ApS to withdraw the stated membership fee periodically, until you choose to end your subscription. 

After you complete an order on luxplus.co.uk, you will receive a receipt via email that contains information regarding the subscription terms. Please note that previous orders, sans the subscription terms, can be found when you are logged onto luxplus.co.uk, under “My Orders” located in the menu tab. 

Children below 18 years 

When becoming a member at Luxplus, you are to confirm that you are above 18 years old. If you are below 18 years, the subscription must be signed by a parent or legal guardian. An agreement can always be cancelled by a parent or legal guardian, in the case of the signee being a minor.

Membership payment 

Your Luxplus subscription is payed continuously. Your membership is renewed automatically to give you constant access, until you no longer want to be a member, 

Your Luxplus registration is legally binding from the moment you accept the order with your membership, thereby activating it. As a member of Luxplus and a card holder, you are required to pay for your membership period and consequent subscription withdrawals, until you cancel your membership on the site or by contacting Customer Service. 

You are required to pay for the Membership from the agreed start date of the membership. In case of withdrawal from the agreement between the parties, you are liable to pay for the part of the service which has already been delivered. This is calculated proportionately, based on the period for which Luxplus has been providing the membership benefits.

You have burden of proving that he or she has exercised the right of cancellation if subsequent doubt arises about this. 

Please note, that you cannot terminate your membership by refusing the payment or through chargeback. In case of unpaid or overdue invoices, Luxplus reserves the right to use external business partners (i.e., debt collection agencies) for payment recovery. This includes fees related to payment or cancellation of payment, 

All transactions on luxplus.co.uk are to be made via credit card payments (Visa Debit, Visa Electron, Maestro, Visa, MasterCard). All payment expenses are incurred by Luxplus ApS and are hereby accounted for in product prices and membership costs displayed on the website. You can look at your previous payments and orders by logging into your account on luxplus.co.uk via the lock symbol located in the top right-hand corner of the homepage.

Termination of Membership and legally beinding period 

You can terminate your membership at anytime by contacting us via email at [email protected] (we reply within 24 hours on weekdays) or by logging onto Luxplus.co.uk and selecting "My Membership." The termination will be effective at the end of the current membership period. The only exception is during first 24 hours of membership, within which your subscription is locked due to technical reasons, After the first 24 hours, you can terminate your subscription however you wish to. 

Please note, that if you have an ongoing order, your membership can not be terminated until the order has been sent. This usually happens within 24 hours. Please try again after your order has been shipped. 

To terminate your membership, log in and click on “My Membership.” If you terminate your membership, you will still have access to it until it expires. After a membership has been cancelled, money will not be withdrawn from your account unless you choose to reactivate your membership. 

Cancellation Rights 

Your Luxplus subscription is tied to a legally endorsed right to cancellation of 14 days. In practice, this means that your cancellation deadline expires 14 days after you have entered into an agreement with us. Your right to cancellation is active from the day you make the agreement and not from the commencement of monthly subscription payments. 

If you wish to terminate your subscription, you are required to articulate this to us at least 14 days prior to the commencement of you entering into a binding agreement with us. You can give notice of this by contacting us via email at [email protected] (we reply within 24 hours on weekdays). In your message, clearly and explicitly state that you wish to exercise your right to cancellation. 

The Member is required to pay for the Membership from the agreed start date of the membership. This is calculated proportionately based on the period for which Luxplus has been providing the membership benefits.
