Why is Eye Serum So Important?

I’ve reached an age where I need to do a little bit more to look good, particularly as far as the area around my eyes goes. Ideally, I should have begun at the age of 25, but better late than never, right? I recently bought an Elizabeth Arden eye serum which I’ve used every evening before drifting to sleep and in the morning as part of my makeup ritual. 

Why is Eye Serum So Important? 

Why would you use eye serum if you already use day cream on your face? Eye serum or eye cream are important elements when it comes to caring for the areas around your eyes. Both eye serum and eye cream contain molecules that are much smaller than those used in face cream. Applying face cream to the area around the eyes, the cream won’t penetrate these areas due to the thick molecule textures, which means that you are essentially wasting your cream and by and large, your time as well.

Like other Elizabeth Arden products, this eye serum is stylishly packaged, basking in an aura of high quality and luxury. As such, it looks good on any makeup shelf. The small capsules that the serum comes in, however, are a bit cumbersome, so take good care when opening them if you want to avoid a mess. I recommend using a small pair of scissors to open the miniature capsules.
The serum is effective and easy to use. A small amount goes a long way, so use it economically rather than wastefully. Do not be deceived by the miniature appeal of the capsules, their content is both wholesome and plentiful such that you can use easily use one capsule twice.
Dip your fingers cautiously into the serum and massage it gently onto the area under your eyes and presto, brace yourself for some great results. Personally, I’ve been impressed by the serum and its effects, which have dealt with the worst of the swelling around my eyes in the mornings. It has also removed some of the fine lines and skin folds around the eyes.
