Standard rules for color mixing apply. A single packet is sufficient to dye up to 600g of fabric (such as a pair of jeans) to a rich shade, or 1.2kg of fabric (like a double duvet cover) to a lighter tint.
Dylon Smoke Grey works best with cotton, linen, and viscose. Blends of cotton/polyester and viscose/polyester will achieve lighter shades. It is not suitable for wool, silk, synthetic materials (such as acrylic, polyester, nylon), or fabrics with special finishes.
